INGREDIENTS 1 handful soil | 1 tsp sage | 1 tsp black salt | 1 tsp chili powder | ½ handful dried lemon

This spell is intended to reflect a curse or hex back to the sender. You are not creating and sending out any curses, you are simply shielding and returning anything harmful that may have been sent your way.

Start by cleansing your space and yourself, and casting a circle. Add the soil, sage, black salt, chili powder, and dried lemon to your cauldron, mixing them all together. Now focus on the spell sent your way, trying to energetically envision it, seeing its shape and colors in your mind, as well as the person who sent it. Once you have a clear picture in your mind, place your candle in the center of the cauldron and light it. This candle represents the spell sent your way. Next, snuff out the flame in the soil mixture and, with your boline or blade, cut the top of the candle off to create a new bottom. Flip the candle upside down, and carve the new top into the typical pencil-like tip, exposing the wick.

Place the candle in the center again and light it. As you do so, speak the words:

I return what you sent to me, may it never return, may the sender of this ill-will receive what they intended for me, so mote it be.

Continue to focus on the intent of returning the spell to the original sender and wait until the candle has burned down completely. Then you can open the circle.

You can now collect all the remaining ingredients and wax, dispose of them in a trash can, and immediately remove them from your home.
