Morning Yogurt Cup

Yogurt is just fantastic. It is creamy, fresh tasting, pretty filling, and very versatile. For this recipe, I’m going to say that you can use any of the many soft cheeses with a yogurt-like consistency, but if you stick with actual yogurt you will be getting the added benefit of live, active cultures. These are great for digestion and help ensure a well-balanced microbiome.

YIELD: 1 serving

The Stuff:

       ½ cup plain Greek yogurt, mascarpone cheese, crème fraiche, English clotted cream, farmers cheese, or other soft cheese

       1 tablespoon hemp hearts or chia seeds

       1 ounce low-carbohydrate berries

       1 ounce low-carbohydrate nuts, chopped

What to Do:

Fold all ingredients together in a bowl. It’s that simple!
