VINCENT A. CEFALU was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. After leaving to join the United States Marine Corps, he served six years overseas and stateside. Upon receiving his honorable discharge from the Marines, he hired on with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department where he served as a patrolman for almost four years.
Upon completion of his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, he was hired by the United States Customs Service and assigned to Key West, Florida, where he spent almost two years chasing smugglers. Cefalu ultimately found a home with ATF as a special agent. He went on to complete his master’s degree and served in many capacities with ATF before retiring in 2014. He has two sons and three stepchildren, a daughter and two sons.
He spends his days teaching, riding his Harley, drinking, having fun. He offers up his free time to local senior citizens and law enforcement charities. This is Cefalu’s first book, though not his first published work.
