I encourage you to delve a little deeper into some of the resources that I consulted when writing this book. I’ve written a sentence or two on each about the information I gleaned.
MOVIES
Spirit of the Marathon,
2007, directed by Jon Dunham. Distributed by Image Entertainment (US). This movie documents the journey of several athletes as they tackle the training leading up to the 2005 Chicago Marathon. Many marathoners watch this movie during their own marathon buildups as a source of inspiration.
