To calculate your approximate scaled score on the practice test, first calculate your raw score.
RAW SCORE = (number of correct answers) – (number of incorrect answers)
Note that in calculating your raw score, you ignore the number of questions you omitted. For example, if you answered only 40 of the 50 questions, and 34 were correct and 6 were incorrect, your raw score would be as follows:
Raw scores ending in .25 are rounded down and raw scores ending in .5 and .75 are rounded up. So, in the example above, your raw score would be 33.
Use the conversion chart on page 8 to get your approximate scaled score. In the example above, your raw score of 33 would be converted to a scaled score of 630.
