Jennifer’s ideal bagel—so classic, so sophisticated. Just like Jennifer.
Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: None Makes: 1 serving
2 tablespoons (30 g) Cashew Cream Cheese
1 Bagel, Plain or Everything (here or here), sliced and lightly toasted
1 tablespoon (9 g) capers, drained
2 ounces (55 g) or about 3 slices Lox
1 thin slice red onion
A few sprigs fresh dill
Spread a tablespoon (15 ml) of cream cheese on each of the bagel halves. Press the capers into the bottom half and add the lox, red onion and dill. Top with the remaining half of the bagel and serve.
