Allison Westfahl is a nationally renowned exercise physiologist, author, and fitness personality. Over the course of her highly successful career in health and fitness, Allison has worked at the nation’s top health clubs, leading teams of personal trainers and shaping group fitness programs for people from all walks of life.

After growing up on a sheep farm in Kansas and graduating from Yale with a degree in classical music, Allison embarked on a personal quest for a healthier lifestyle—a quest that ultimately led her to become a personal trainer. In the years since, she has gone on to earn a master of science degree in exercise science and multiple certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and endurance sports federations. She also holds a fitness nutrition specialist certification from the American Council on Exercise. Her clients range from elite cyclists, triathletes, and professional models to everyday men and women with little time for working out and lots of pounds to shed. Allison’s wide range of experience and knowledge has made her passionate about creating personal training programs that deliver lasting results. Allison lives in Denver, Colorado, where she is the personal training director at Pura VidaFitness & Spa.
