Ask any youth worker, youth pastor, or therapist of adolescents what most influences a teen’s ability to learn responsibility and self-control, and you will get the same answer: a parent who models those qualities. You must live what you are teaching your teen. So this part of the book will help you to develop and grow your own boundaries. It’s work. But really, how can you lose by becoming free, self-controlled, and honest yourself?
