About the Author

Michael J. Gelb is a professional public speaker renowned for his scintillating, inspiring, and life-changing presentations on creative leadership, genius thinking, and conscious business. He has served as an executive leadership and presentation coach to AT&T, DuPont, Genentech, KPMG, Merck, Microsoft, Nike, YPO, and many others.

Michael is the author of seventeen books, including How to Think Like Leonardo da Vinci, The Art of Connection, Body Learning, and The Healing Organization, coauthored with Raj Sisodia. Michael’s books have been translated into twenty-five languages and have sold more than a million copies.

In 2003 Michael received a Batten Fellowship in Innovation from the University of Virginia, and he codirected the acclaimed Leading Innovation Seminar at the Darden Graduate School of Business for more than ten years. In April 2020 he accepted the role of Senior Fellow at the Center for Humanistic Management and became a member of the Leading People and Organizations Advisory Board at the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business. He teaches for the Gabelli School and for the London Business School.

Michael is a master teacher of the Alexander Technique, a fifth-degree black belt in aikido, and a gifted teacher of qigong and tai chi. He is also a professional juggler who has performed with the Rolling Stones.
