Firefly is easily one of my favorite television shows of all time. It’s a mix of gun-slinging Western and futuristic sci-fi!
This jacket is inspired by the show and the characters of Malcolm and Zoe. Being rebels, a.k.a. “Browncoats,” this jacket of course has to be brown, but I thought it would be fun to make a feminine version of the traditional costumes from the show.
Lace edging on the bottom of the coat and the sleeves gives the jacket a lot of movement. It’s light enough to wear whether you need to run from the Alliance or just curl up on the couch for a Firefly marathon with your fellow Browncoats!
