Cal Neubert graduated from CSU-Pueblo in 2021 with a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in journalism. After excelling as a student athlete most of his life, he was struck with a career-ending injury in 2019. After having to leave the sport he loved so much, Neubert lost his way.
He changed his major, stayed inside every day, and stopped caring about his physical health. His sister, Tatum Neubert, had eventually told him he should start writing his thoughts in a journal. Cal listened to his older sister and began writing in his journal daily.
The daily writing developed into poetry, which then grew into short stories, which then strengthened into his first novel, The Cleansing.
With his newfound passion for writing fiction novels, Neubert doesn't plan on slowing down anytime soon. Already finished with the first story in a planned trilogy, you can expect to see Neubert's work evolve over time.
