Ingredients

  Carrots weighing 300g/11oz

  1 orange

  2 pitted dates, finely chopped

  1 tbsp sultanas, finely chopped

  ½ tsp brown sugar

  Small pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Method

1 Top, tail & peel the carrots and use the shredder blade to turn into thin spirals.

2 Peel the orange, divide into segments and finely chop.

3 Combine everything together really well in a bowl. Cover and chill in the fridge.

Use as a salad side or as a relish for meat dishes.
