HOUSE NUMBER PLANTER

Sometimes a project doesn’t have to be complicated to be stunning. My favorite projects are the ones where you can get a custom look in just minutes. This project that teaches you how to create a House Number Planter definitely falls into that category. Displaying your house number is important, so you may as well make it look beautiful while you are at it.

MATERIALS

  1. Line up your numbers on your bucket where you want them placed. I used the lines on the bucket as my guide to make sure the numbers were straight and even.
  2. Use your screw gun to attach each of your numbers with the sheet metal screws. Be sure to hold each number tightly in place while attaching or the number will spin out.

  3. Use your drill to drill several drainage holes in the bottom of the galvanized bucket. Add gravel to the base for drainage and to weigh down your planter. Next, add potting soil and your plants. Another option would be to place an existing garden-center pot directly into the bucket.
