Provides tactical radio capability to enable a wide variety of Army Aviation platforms to meet networking interoperability requirements.
Airborne and Maritime/Fixed Station Joint Tactical Radio System (AMF JTRS) is a family of software-defined networking radios designed to meet Army Aviation requirements for secure user voice, data and video communications.
The AMF JTRS program of record is being restructured around a family-of-radios approach to procure industry-developed tactical radios. The proposed acquisition strategy will authorize procurement of Non-Developmental Items (NDIs) to meet platform needs.
