FOR THE BORDER

Round 2: 1ch, *1dc in next st, picot, 1dc in next st; rep from * to end of upper edge, 1dc in each st to end, join with a sl st in first st.

MAKING UP AND FINISHING
Weave in all loose ends and block to measurements. Thread the ribbon through the eyelet holes around the neckline and trim the ribbon ends into neat angles to prevent fraying.
Tips
Take time to block your finished cape to open up and really show off the lace design. Blocking will also help to settle the silken stitches into place.
Y
Silk blend yarns are dreamy to work with but can be a little bit slippery, so it might take a few rows of the pattern to become accustomed to their characteristics.
