Death and Taxes

Dad always did his own taxes. Nothin’ hard about that for him. But after his operation he had so much trouble. He really tried to add up some numbers and fill out the form. But he just didn’t know what was goin’ on now. There was alot more to it than ought plus ought equals ought. He realized that and he was so upset. He said, “By god . . . them tax people better not come after me . . . they cain’t arrest me . . . I ain’t even got a brain anymore.”
