7 A Crystal Ritual for Angelic Love

Angelic love is higher love—love that is selfless and kind, and universal and unconditional. To bring angelic love into your life and to find or strengthen a relationship, you can create a crystal love altar and call in the angel of love to help you.

The south-west is traditionally associated with attracting and strengthening love and relationships. Set up your altar in the south-west in a peaceful space in your home—this may be your bedroom or study, or a quiet corner of your living room.

You will need: a picture of an angel, or a figurine; a love crystal, such as rose quartz, rhodochrosite, kunzite, aventurine, or your dedicated angel crystal (see Tip 6); a pink candle.

The love ritual

* Find a quiet space to set up your love altar. Light the pink candle to symbolize the beginning of the ritual. Now go through the grounding, protection, and opening-up meditation (see pages 9–10). Hold a crystal in each palm, or one crystal with both hands, and begin to sense the vibration of your crystal. It may feel hot or cold, or you might feel a tingling in your palms, which shows you have connected with your crystal. Hold your crystal(s) throughout the meditation. You can sit comfortably in a chair, or lie down holding your crystals. If you lie down, you can place your crystal on your heart chakra. Experiment to find what feels best for you.

* Call upon your guardian angel, saying their name gently, then invite Haniel, an angel of love, to join you. When you tingle, or feel a shift in the energy around you—however you sense your angel’s presence—you are ready to begin. Say: “Archangel Haniel, please bring love into my life. Thank you.” Now choose one or more of the visualizations below.

* For a new relationship: If you are looking for a romantic relationship, set your intention. Visualize the face of your perfect man or woman. Give this imaginary picture as much detail as you can—hair color, smile, body shape. If you can’t easily do this, just connect with the feeling of being totally in love. Breathe into this sensation or your picture, so the feeling of love expands and grows within you. You might sense this as your whole body filling with luminous pink light. Be aware of your crystal and feel its energy pulsing as you visualize. Your crystal, with Archangel Haniel, energizes your intention to attract more love into your life. When you are ready, move on to the next ritual, or close down (see page 11), thanking your angels. Place your crystal(s) on your love altar.

* For love from family and friends: Follow the ritual above, but this time visualize a group of friends and family joining hands, with Archangel Haniel standing behind them. Keep the focus on your breathing, seeing this breath as a conduit for love energy flowing from you to your circle of people and Archangel Haniel and back to you again. This breath is a ring of beautiful pink light, which expands to touch all the people you care about. Really feel this closeness and love, and feel this love imprinting on the crystals in your hands. Let your whole body feel the love vibration. When you are ready, move on to the next ritual, or close down (see page 11), thanking your angels. Place the crystal(s) on your love altar.

* To send love to the planet: For earth healing, call upon Archangel Sandalphon, guardian of the earth, saying: “Archangel Sandalphon, please send love and healing to our planet. Thank you.” As before, send out love energy with your breath. See the pink light swooping around the surface of Mother Earth, sending love to all its creatures. Feel your pure connection to the planet and the love you have for her. Sense the grounding in your eet, connecting you to the earth through deep, deep roots. Stay with this feeling for as long as you like, still holding your crystals, and when you are ready, place them on the table or your angel altar as you gradually step back from the visualization. Thank your angels and Archangel Sandalphon, then close down (see page 11).

Whenever you want to reconnect with this feeling of pure, unconditional love, hold your crystals. They act as a portal to the special feelings you experienced in the meditation, which helps you make love a reality and manifest the love you want to give and to attract.
