14 Wishing on an Angel for the Truth
When you need to know the truth of a situation, talk to your angels. Blue is the color of truth—”true blue”—which you can bring into this revealing meditation.
THE TRUTH MEDITATION: THE THROAT CHAKRA
* Follow the grounding, protection, and opening-up ritual (see pages 9–10).
* Now invite your angels to come close. Really let yourself feel their loving vibrations. Check all your senses for tingling, heat and cold, taste, and aroma.
* Now feel your angels’ wings around you, and encompassing your whole body. Sense a vibrant blue color wash over your angels’ wings. Breathe slowly, following the sound of your breathing until you are ready to ask your angels to help you see the truth of a situation. But first, visualize the problem, so that your angels can see it, too. Give it as much detail as you can—sound, color, feeling.
* Call your angels by name, gently aloud or to yourself, saying: “My Angels, please tell me the truth about …” three times, and thanking them at the end of your request. Feel your angels’ connection strongly as you do this, and focus on your feelings. Sense the answer to your question within you.
* When you are ready to finish, close down your chakras (see page 11).
* You can ask your angels to give you confirmation that the answer is correct. Look out for angel signs (see Tip 1)—they will be there for you.
THE LITTLE BLUE ANGEL
You can carry a little blue angel or any blue crystal with you when you feel you need clarity and sense you might not be getting the whole story. Keep your blue angel close when you’re in a difficult meeting at work, or whenever truth is really important—when you’re having problems communicating in personal relationships, for instance. Sometimes you can feel blocked and can’t say what you want to say because others are putting up barriers. Hold your blue angel and ask him to show you the truth.
THE QUICK COMMUNICATION UPGRADE
To communicate better with people around you and with your angels, follow the ritual above, focussing on your throat (this is the location of your throat chakra, which is linked with the color blue; see the illustration on page 12). Ask your angels to clear communication blocks, and for the confidence to express your feelings and opinions.
Vibrant blues in the upgrade visualization—from heaven-blue to lighter shades—show high-level communication. Very dark blue and dark colors mixed with the blue, such as brown, gray, or black, can show issues you need to voice. You can transform this energy by going back into the visualization and this time sending a vibrant blue beam of light into your throat chakra to lift the vibration there and help you speak your truth.
