  1. Season the beef with salt.
  1. In a pan, brown the beef on both sides.
  2. Place the vegetables in the slow cooker, followed by the beef, herbs and broth.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  4. Shred meat and serve with liquid in the slow cooker.
