Apple Rosemary Pork Roast

- 1 whole pork shoulder roast, about 3 pounds
- 3 medium apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 6 sprigs rosemary
- 4 sprigs basil, leaves only
- 1 tablespoons chopped chives
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Rub the pork shoulder with salt and place in the slow cooker.
- Add herbs and top with apples.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- Shred meat and serve.
