The sweet, citrusy, and tart combination of this smoothie makes it a perfect cold summertime drink. To make this drink a nutritional powerhouse, without taking away from its refreshing flavor, try adding a cup of frozen spinach. It’s another great way to get your daily dose of health- and longevity-promoting dark leafy greens.
2 cups watermelon chunks, cut small (should make about 2 cups of juice)
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice (about ½ medium lime)
1 small kiwi, peeled
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Chill and serve over ice.
