Inspired by the eggnog I loved as a child, this grown-up version is tastier, healthier, and more refreshing than the dairy version. It’s spiced with antioxidant-rich cinnamon and cloves, which protect against damaging free radicals that can lead to premature aging. For an equally flavorful twist, try swapping the cloves for cardamom.

1½ cups raw cashews, soaked in water for 1 hour and drained

4 Medjool dates, pitted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

⅓ teaspoon cloves

Place all ingredients in a blender with 3 cups water and blend until smooth and creamy. Chill and serve.
