3 cups (12 ounces) hulled, halved fresh strawberries

1 cup fat-free or light soy milk

1 cup (6 ounces) strawberry sorbet, such as Häagen-Dazs brand

preparation

Combine strawberries and soy milk in blender container. Cover and blend until

fairly smooth. Add sorbet; cover and blend until smooth and thick.

substitutions: Thawed frozen unsweetened strawberries may replace the fresh strawberries; skim milk or 1% milk may replace the soy milk.

tips: Other berries and sorbets will work with this, too: blueberries and lime sorbet, blackberries and chocolate sorbet, and raspberries and lemon sorbet. Experiment and enjoy!
