RealAge-effect ingredients:

Loaded with isoflavones from two soy foods, and with a surprisingly hefty fiber count, this quickie will make your RealAge 5.5 days younger.

Soy milk, bananas, berries (healthy protein, antioxidants, flavonoids, potassium)

ingredients

2 cups low-fat (1%) chocolate soy milk, such as Silk brand

1 cup frozen chocolate nondairy soy dessert, such as Soy Delicious brand

24 frozen medium strawberries

1 medium banana, broken into chunks

¼ cup chocolate syrup such as Drucker’s (optional)

Multicolored sprinkles (optional)

preparation

Combine all ingredients except sprinkles in blender container. Cover and blend at high speed until thick and smooth. Pour into frosted mugs; garnish with sprinkles, if desired.

substitutions: Low-fat Tofutti (a nondairy soy-based ice cream substitute) may replace the chocolate nondairy soy dessert. Fresh strawberries will work instead of the frozen ones, but the drink will not be as cold or as thick.

tips: For a thicker, colder shake, slice and freeze the banana the night before.
