Bigfoot War: Outbreak is linked directly to Bigfoot War II: Dead in the Woods. It is not only set in the time frame as the events of Bigfoot War II, it essentially picks up a storyline introduced in the second book and develops it. As the heroes of Bigfoot War II struggle to survive not only against hordes of Sasquatch still rampaging across the southeast but the beginning of the zombie apocalypse as well, one of them attempts to call the authorities in the city of Asheville in an effort to gain help with their own dire situation. Instead of reaching help however, they make contract with a frightened woman who is hiding in the Asheville Police Department named Brook. Bigfoot War: Outbreak tells Brook’s story as well as reveals more to readers of the series about what happened in the city of Asheville and how it fell to the zombies before the main force of Sasquatch ever reached its streets. I won’t lie, Bigfoot War: Outbreak was very fun to write. In a sense, it was like entering
