Come do a little life with me . . .

FIRST CHOICE: Crazy good vs. Hard knock
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free, silhouetted by the sea . . .

THIRD CHOICE: Verb vs. Noun
Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin. Dance me through the panic till I’m gathered safely in.

FOURTH CHOICE: Creating vs. Reacting
Love and gravity are why we fall, and life’s deepest meaning is: it’s short. That’s all.

FIFTH CHOICE: Something vs. Nothing
You know who I am, you’ve stared at the sun. Well, I am the one who loves changing from nothing to one.

Honesty is hardly ever heard, and mostly what I need from you.

EIGHTH CHOICE: Game vs. Shame
You know drinking alone’s a shame. It’s a shame, it’s a crying shame. Look at those jokers glued to that damn hockey game.
1. Maybe I can shame myself into it
2. Motivation will no longer be necessary
3. It’s time to move your mouse
4. Shouldn’t I take this more seriously?
NINTH CHOICE: The Want‑to vs. the How‑to
Look, if you had, one shot, or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted. In one moment, would you capture it, or just let it slip?

3. Will you take a carrot or a stick?
4. It’s hard to replace lost people
TENTH CHOICE: Agreement vs. Expectation
Fluctuations are aching in my soul. Expectation is taking its toll.

ELEVENTH CHOICE: Testing vs. Trusting
What about that millionaire with the drumsticks in his pants? He looked so baffled and so bewildered when he played and we didn’t dance.

TWELFTH CHOICE: Purpose vs. Personality
All through the day: I me mine I me mine I me mine.

5. Today I question every thought
6. But I saw it on Dr. Phil
7. It’s clouds’ illusions I recall
THIRTEENTH CHOICE: Transformation vs. Information
Inch by inch, row by row, I’m gonna make this garden grow, all it takes is a rake and a hoe, and a piece of fertile ground.
1. My life was stuck in the mud
2. Transformation means change
3. This can make your life a joke
4. I challenge you to grab this
5. A great leap forward is what stops us
6. Fifteen minutes and then you can bail
7. Afraid to leave my safe house

FOURTEENTH CHOICE: Love vs. Fear
And I’ll bury my soul in a scrapbook, with the photographs there, and the moss. And I’ll yield to the flood of your beauty, my cheap violin, and my cross.

FIFTEENTH CHOICE: Living vs. Dying
Loving’s really living. Without it, you’re not living, boy, you’re just getting up each day and walking around.

Everything’s a godsend.
