The girls are on a trip to an unknown destination and along the way Harriet almost drowned trying to recover their luggage from the car after it crash into a river. But the adventures don't stop there when less than twenty-four hours later, Harriet is swept out to sea with another member of this merry band during a rain storm. This is only the beginning of their exciting vacation at the seashore. Mysterious activities on the beach and sea lead to more danger as the girls become involved in international intrigue.
