That multi-part, immensely wide-bodied rock shone so calmly in the light of the Pacific sun that the man looked as if he was rotten until the street movement uncomfortably frowned him and left the place. But the upright head and the suitcase that rolled quietly back and forth, knew how he was still stepping on it with the feeling of excitement and satisfaction, looking for his wife and children from where he had left them years ago. In vain, however, he was looking for the traces of the former paths between the buildings, which before the meadows and gardens were shady and friendly led up to the municipalities. For these paths were widely buried under dusty or coarse gravel roads. Even though this all his addiction still increased, however, he finally came to a surprise surprise when he spun around a few corners unexpectedly falling into a corner of the houses, which he immediately knew of an old rustic construction. Those prominent roofs, the red log walls, and the small terraced lands in front of the houses were all unchanged.—From the book
