[Gutenberg 3401] • The Elevator

The Elevator begins with the guests coming to Mrs. Roberts rooms getting stuck between floors in an elevator. There is a lot of commotion until Mr. Campbell suggestions that since the elevator will not go up they should ride it down and then walk up. Howells has created an enjoyable farce.
