"The Mystery Hunters at the Haunted Lodge" is an old fashioned mystery story in the tradition of the Hardy Boys.
When Barry Garrison and his pals, Kent Marple and the ford twins, Mac and Tim, decided to spend their winter vacation at Arrowtip Lake, their trip appeared to be merely a camping jaunt. The boys, however, were attempting to solve the mystery of Bluff Lodge that had the reputation of being haunted.
The young mystery hunters knew the haunt was human, and they found plenty of evidence of his presence in and about the Lodge. But instead of one mysterious person, the boys encountered various people who might be causing the rappings and knockings that, together with the thefts committed during camping parties at the Lodge, had brought disrepute to the old cabin.
