When we work face to face with clients, in our separate practices, we generally see them for around six or seven sessions. We have structured our self-help approach along similar lines to reflect this. We have spent a great deal of time developing the steps and the order has been determined to provide the optimum outcome for you. We would really like you to begin with step one and complete it fully before moving on to the next step. Some of you may be tempted to dip in and out of the steps, or even to cherry pick, and just choose to work on the parts that appeal to you most. This ad hoc approach may mean you omit resolving emotional blocks that could stand in your way of successful weight loss. So our recommendation is to set aside an hour or so, once a week, whenever you have quiet time to dedicate to yourself, and to begin at the very beginning.
