HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR HEALTH SNACKS

As you read through the book you’ll see there are dozens of different health snacks that you can choose from. Given that you only need to choose one from each section, the variety of choice might seem overwhelming. To make things easier, I’ve created a series of combinations that work particularly well for certain conditions and concerns that people regularly come to see me about as a doctor.

If you have a particular health concern you’d like to focus on—be it anxiety, depression, or high blood pressure—I’ve selected a series of combinations for you that you may find useful. Alternatively, if you have something that you want more of in life—such as focus, energy, or better sleep—there are plenty of options for you as well. This is a plan that is relevant for each and every single one of us, whether we feel unwell or simply want to optimize our wellbeing.

The combinations I’ve selected are simply the ones I’ve found to work well in the past. You are free to choose whichever three health snacks you want, but if you need a bit of direction, they’re a useful place to start. It’s very important, though, that you choose the health snacks that you really want to do. If I’ve recommended a particular heath snack that doesn’t appeal, I would suggest that you don’t do it. It is very hard to create new habits for things that we don’t have a strong desire to do. Ultimately, doing any combination of three health snacks from this book consistently will help you improve your health and, likely, transform your life.
