Baking Goods
There is nothing better than a freshly baked cake, cupcake, or muffin with a dollop of cream or frosting. This is a weakness and temptation that lurks within many of us—and one that we try to avoid like the plague.
There is that sense of satisfaction and fulfilment when we take that first bite of a pastry or other backed good; and if it tastes good, we close our eyes in acknowledgement, leaving you totally satisfied or guilty. (I personally like to think satisfied, as there is nothing to feel guilty about when we find pleasure in the things we eat.)
We give baked goods as a peace offering or as an offering of gratitude. The effort and the gesture in which they are given is what counts. When receiving this type of offering, keep in mind that someone has gone out of their way to actually bake something with you in mind.
When making a cake for the family or friends, make the flavor the key to your intent. As the cake rises, so do the wishes you wished for. For someone to grow financially, write the name of that person on a small piece of paper and fold it into the batter. You can also do this to wish someone wealth, health, love, and protection.

Similar to honey, maple syrup is just as sticky and great for those money and love spells. Write the name of the one you wish to attract on a piece of paper. Place the paper in a small bowl filled with maple syrup.
You can also use maple syrup in modification spells. Write the name of the one you wish to modify to do small things around the house. Place the paper in maple syrup and dry it in the sun. Your wish will be their command.
