However, his organization has connections extending inside the intelligence community that cannot be ignored. Tarpley’s revelations concerning Prescott Bush’s dealings with the Nazis are confirmed by various government documents, including the vesting orders. The dealings between Prescott Bush and the Nazis first reported by Tarpley and Chaitkin have been confirmed and extended by John Loftus and John Buchanan. Chapter 4, The 1930s: Nazis Parading on Main Street

(Click here to return to the end of Chapter 4)

1 This writer believes that one of the reasons the far right wing has always been fractured in this country is the intense hatred and intolerant views or tunnel vision of its groups and their members. The writer also believes the greater factorization during the ’30s compared to today was a product of both economic conditions and the technology of the times. The groups in the ’30s had to rely on the U.S. postal system to exchange their pamphlets, unlike the groups from the 1980s that were quick to develop mailing lists, and use faxes and the Internet to exchange their pamphlets in the 1990s. 24 Another seemingly innocent association between fascists and Reagan was his refusal to grant a extradition request from Jim Garrison for Edgar Eugene Bradley, a right-wing preacher from North Hollywood, Calif., and part-time assistant to Carl McIntire, the fundamentalist minister who founded the American Counsel of Christian Churches. This is the only time in the history of California that a governor refused an extradition request. In one theory of the assassination of JFK, McIntire’s group played a pivotal role. What is known is Bradley identified himself as a Secret Service agent to Deputy Sheriff Roger Craig in Dallas the day of the assassination, shortly after the fatal bullets were fired. Likewise, it should be noted that Bradley filed and won a libel suit over this incident. http://www.ratical.org/ratville/JFK/WTKaP.html (back)

3 Washington, D.C.: A key document in the history of covert warfare, the CIA’s own internal investigation into the April 1961 Bay of Pigs debacle in Cuba, was made public today. The top secret, 150-page report, officially known as “The Inspector General’s Survey of the Cuban Operation,” castigates the agency for misinforming Kennedy administration officials, bad planning, inadequate intelligence, treating rebel leaders as “puppets,” and conducting an overt military operation beyond “Agency responsibility as well as Agency capability.” This quote was taken from a Web site containing the report at http://www.seas.gwu.edu/nsarchive/news/19980222.htm #ref_pigs2(back)
