A Light Car Patrol.
Is divided into two sections, each with two ‘Gun’ cars and one transport car, with the necessary personnel. In no case is any smaller formation than a section used, as cars always operate in pairs when on active service.
A Gun car is always in charge of an officer or sergeant. One transport car is in the charge of a Corporal who acts as Quartermaster. The other transport car is in charge of a Corporal who is a trained mechanic and is responsible for all running repairs.
