When I don’t eat for too long, I get Hangry with a capital H. It’s a lethal combo of hungry and angry. My loved ones have learned that it’s best for everyone if I avoid this state and take a time-out to snack. With a few bites of hummus and veggies or apples and peanut butter, I transform back into my normal, kind self.
