Perfect for parties, special occasions, and pupper get-togethers, these cakes and slices are great to share among friends.
Because they take a bit more effort and time than easier recipes (like our No-Bake Dog Treats and Kong & Treat Ball Stuffers), I tend to make them when I know they’re going to be enjoyed by a larger group.
The biggest thing to get used to when baking dog-friendly cakes and slices is that the ingredients are all so different from your normal cakes filled with butter and sugar. This means your methods of baking are varied and it does take some practice to learn how to frost cakes with doggie icing, or know when to turn a pup-friendly pancake!
But believe me, when you serve these beauties up to dog loving friends, it’ll make it all worthwhile.
