Meet the Author and Her Team

Myra Goodman cofounded Earthbound Farm in 1984 with her husband, Drew. The company has become the largest grower of organic produce in the country, and has received numerous awards for their sustainability initiatives. Myra’s cooking has always been inspired by fresh organic produce, and she is the author of the popular cookbook Food to Live By. Myra started Earthbound Farm’s farm stand in 1992, and opened its certified organic café in 2003.

Pamela McKinstry ran three restaurants on Nantucket Island and served as an organizer, guide, and chef for safaris in the African bush. Currently Pam is a consulting chef for Earthbound Farm and an inspector for California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF). She collaborated with Myra Goodman on Myra’s first cookbook, Food to Live By.

Sarah LaCasse has worked as a restaurant chef, private chef, and caterer. Currently the Executive Chef for Earthbound Farm, some of Sarah’s recipes also appear in Food to Live By.

Ronni Sweet is a California writer who has worked on many projects (including the introduction to Food to Live By) with Myra Goodman and Earthbound Farm since 1999.
