Two Days in Naples
Day 1
Start in the heart of Royal Naples at the grandiose Piazza del Plebiscito. Return to Naples to see the ancient treasures at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale – closed Tuesdays. Enjoy dinner in the romantic Borgo Marinari surrounded by fishing boats and the Castel dell’Ovo.
Seven Days in Naples and the Amalfi Coast
As Two Days in Naples.
Head to Naples’ highest district to visit the Certosa di San Martino and Castel Sant’Elmo. Art lovers won’t want to miss the Capodimonte Museum – closed Wednesdays.
If desired, transfer your base to the Amalfi Coast and explore Amalfi, with its impressive Cathedral of St Andrew and fascinating Museo della Carta. High in the mountains above Amalfi, visit the peaceful town of Ravello for its fine gardens and views.
Enjoy a drive along the Amalfi Coast road from Sorrento to Salerno, or take a ferry to soak up the sun in Positano, known as the “Vertical City”.
Clinging to the hillside, Positano is a stunning backdrop to the sandy beach.
Take the ferry to Capri where highlights include the famous Blue Grotto, spectacular views from Monte Solaro in Anacapri, the picturesque Marina Piccola and shopping in Capri Town.
