CONCENTRATION AND REFLEXES

This yogic game improves your child’s concentration and reflexes while playing. It also improves the memorization of the poses.

1. This game starts from any simple posture (standing, sitting, or lying). You can add two similar poses, for example: crocodile (p. 85) and cobra (p.83); cat (p. 97) and dog (p. 99); crocodile (p. 85) and inverted boat (p. 82); locust (p. 81) and cobra (p. 83).

2. To work on concentration, repeat the same pose twice in a row: cobra, dog, cobra, dog, cobra, dog, cobra, dog, cobra, dog, dog, cobra, cobra…. Or, for the younger children, repeat the arms, legs, and eye movements on one side and then the other.
